About Codex Deus
Codex Deus is a Los Angeles-based web and app development firm specializing in rapid, collaborative builds for founders and startups. We create clean, scalable, and reliable software using modern frameworks like React, JavaScript, and others… with built-in marketing strategy to help new products grow fast and profitably.

Founded by David Levine Bramante (General Assembly Santa Monica, Full Stack Web Dev, Class of 2014), Codex Deus combines deep startup experience with hands-on engineering. David has been building and shipping software since 2009, when he co-founded Winnow Data, a commercial real estate CRM with autodialing and team collaboration tools. Built with a five-person dev team across Seattle and Buenos Aires, Winnow supported over 100 brokers across California.

David later co-founded My Home Agent in 2018, an Alexa-powered real estate lead gen system that hit $45K MRR by month three. Over the years, he’s played both CEO and CTO roles, and sometimes supervising global teams, sometimes building tools solo. He has helped scale startups like Hotpoint (Beverly Hills) and LoopChat (UC Berkeley SkyDeck) with custom development and growth consulting.

Codex Deus is built on that experience: fast, structured development paired with real business strategy. Our goal is to help founders launch working MVPs at a fraction of the usual time, with multiple iterations and team check-ins baked into the process.

Beyond code, David has led conversations on AI, consciousness, and robotics through The David Bramante Podcast, featuring guests like John Joe McFadden and Matthew Justice. A lifelong technologist, he competed for Team USA in the first global Electronic Sports Olympics (Age of Empires, Seoul, 1999), and still cites Blade Runner (1982) and Zelda as formative inspirations.

Codex Deus is where creative ideas become functional, market-ready software… fast. Let’s build something cool, futuristic, and profitable.
